Ultra Music was founded in 1995 by music industry executive Patrick Moxey, rising to heights over the past two decades as the leading US Dance Music label. Under the A&R direction of David Waxman, Ultra has been on the cutting front of new musical genres, showing the label’s ability to not only capture current trends but to help shape the upcoming sound.
The label has been called home and helped nurture production talents such as Steve Aoki, Kygo, Lost Frequencies, Benny Benassi, Dadmau, Alan Walker, Calvin Harris, and Tiesto, and many more.
Now Ultra is showing its great diversity with the inclusion of Tech House, Progressive House and working with such global talents such as Black Coffee providing Afro House. Exciting times, with more to come!
